MAHA SHIVRATRI: Maha Shivratri or the great night of lord shiva is one of the most significant Hindu festivals. it is celebrated on the new moon day in the Hindu month of Maagha. On this day devotees of lord shiva offer milk, fruits, flower and seek blessings. People observe strung fast and often stay up all night singing bhajans dedicated to lord shiva.
