Music is a form of art that uses sound organized in time…music includes people singing with their voice or playing an instrument such as guitar, piano, drum, violin, etc. A person who plays music or is musically talented is called a musician. The word music is derived from the Greek word (mousike)which means the art of muses.

Jazz is characterized by string and blue notes, complex chords, call and response vocals, polyrhythms, and improvisation. Jazz has roots in West African culture and African American musical culture. 

There are several other music forms like pop reggae and rock etc.
