Students these days are sitting at home and some parents are also working from home, due to the pandemic. Taking good care of your health and fitness is really very important, hence to take care of our health and fitness eating healthy food and doing regular exercise is important.
You may find it difficult to avoid bad habits like skipping meals or frequently eating fast food. This is the time to eat the healthiest food as we all are at home and our home serves us the purest and hygienic food. Eating a healthy diet can help you feel better, cope with stress, and perform better in the classroom and on the athletic field. It really isn’t that hard to get started and follow it regularly.
HEALTH TIPS FOR BEING HEALTHIER
Eat a good breakfast: due to the busy schedule people often skip breakfast which is not a good idea. If you don’t have time to sit down and enjoy your morning meal then grab some fruits and nuts and a glass of juice or smoothie
Keep healthy snacks on hand: when hunger strikes during late-night study sessions, you won’t be tempted by candy, chips, or ice cream. Possibilities include fresh or dried fruit, pretzels, unbuttered popcorn, rice cakes, or whole wheat crackers. If you have a refrigerator, consider raw vegetables with low-fat yogurt or cottage cheese dip.
Eat plenty of foods rich in calcium: People in their early twenties need to be building up stores of calcium in their bodies to prevent osteoporosis later in life. If you don’t like milk, try to include ample amounts of low-fat yogurt, low-fat cheese, and green leafy vegetables in your diet.
Limit your sugar intake: Sugar provides calories in your diet but few other nutrients, and it contributes significantly to tooth decay. Avoid sugar in your morning and night drink as nowadays diabetes also very common in India.
Drink lots of water: Your body needs at least eight glasses a day, and, if you exercise vigorously, you may need more. To remind yourself, carry a water bottle along to class and keep it handy at all times.
Along with all the healthy food habits, yoga and fitness is also equally important because:-
Physical activity or exercise can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases like type 2 diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. Physical activity and exercise can have immediate and long-term health benefits. Most importantly, regular activity can improve your quality of life.
SOME TIPS OR STAYING FIT:
Exercise Daily: Exercise daily for at least an hour. You do not have to kill yourself from running, jogging, etc. but you should have some sort of moderate physical activity in your everyday life.
Eat the right food: maintain a balanced diet and keep a track of calories and food intake per day,
Be Sure to Get Sleep: Even though most of us have a busy schedule during the day. It is crucial to get enough sleep to recharge the body's batteries. Six to eight hours of sleep will keep the body going throughout the day, but if you happen to feel tired at any point after coming home, take a nap to get recharged again.
Stay Motivated: An important key to being in shape is to set goals and keep a positive mindset. If you stay positive, you will be able to push yourself to get that fit body you've always wanted.
