            PHOTOGRAPHY

The art of capturing light with a camera is called photography. The word photography was first coined by the British scientist sir John Herschel in 1839. The word "photo" means light and "graphy" means drawing. So, the word photography literally means “drawing with light.”

 As we know photography began in late 1830’s .The first permanent image was taken by Joseph Nicephore Niepce with a portable camera. This was the first image recorded that did not fade quickly

The first camera was called “Kodak”and it was first offered for sale in 1888. Gorge Eastman used photographic film. He started manufacturing paper film in 1885

Now a days cameras are fit into smartphones . Which is used for several purpose. Serious photographers use interchangeable lens camera ,both mirror less cameras and digital single lens reflex (DSLRs) offer the flexibility of different lenses .

A good photographer should have concentration   power and patients . He or she should be creative .Technical photography  skill is very important .They should have strong networking skill as well as team working skills. The person having all these skills will be able to take powerful images. That looks realistic and the viewers will be able to connect to the image .

The various types of photography are :-

Portrait photography.

Still life photography.

Landscape photography

Wildlife photography.

Food photography.

Event photography.

The three elements that matters a lot and makes a difference is light ,object and composition.
